You know, just once I'd like to go on a vacation that doesn't end up with me somehow waking up with a headache. Just once! I'm getting sick of sleeping gas and I want my clothes!

And wings? Wings I could deal with. You know who has wings? Angel. But he can fly with his! And all these things are giving me is a pain in the...

This isn't my diary... That's not the right date... this is too weird. Too weird. I'd better call the Professor...

[ and in the dark, jubilee doesn't notice that tree branch. the girl trips over it, and mistaking it as a possible assailiant, twists around to let loose a blast. but as she's in the middle of falling--

No, you were like, twenty-something. [ she bristles slightly. ] I know what I'm talking about! Oh, something weird is going on here.

[Twenty-something? He shakes his head. That doesn't make any sort of sense. She'd be a lot older if she was from the future or something. Deciding there's no point debating who's right, he hops down from the branch in front of her and offers a hand.]

Let's just get to the village, yeah? [He smirks as he gets a look at the dress she's in.] Things might make more sense when you've got the right clothes for it.

I can't believe they took my clothes. [ and she takes it, looking a little annoyed at this whole situation. ] Is anybody else here?

[Taking that invitation, he'll BAMF them away. It'll take more than one of these to get them to the village, but soon enough they'll be in front of the clothing shop. Hopefully Jubes won't be feeling too weak after that.]

[ WOAH. She staggers a little forward, rubbing her eyes. First she was there, then she was there, annnd now she's here. ]

I'll never get used to that. [ but she's tough! so she shakes it off pretty quick. you can't get motion sick when you pilot jets for the hell of it. ]

Oh man, that's a good one. Who would even, right? [He snatches the sunglasses so he can put them on.] Wow, talk about lame. Not even Scott would be seen with these!

Are you serious? [He just shakes his head. Talk about a fashion disaster. Kitty would never stand for it.]

I don't know what's big in Germany, but this is all the rage in the States. [ she slides them on - but not over her eyes. they're pushed up to keep her hair out of her face. without all the product to hold it up, it's flopping all over the place. ]

[But you know, whatever. He leans up against a wall for now, waiting for her to get her stuff together.]

[ she shoots him a strange look. the only one that anyone seems to call them by their actual names is the professor. ] Kurt.

... Free? [ bad decision, kurt. now she'll just be looking through with the intention to grab a little more. ]

Ahh... yeah, definitely free. Go change and I'll call Rogue over, yeah?

[How does he explain to Rogue that Jubilee is here, but she's lost her mind?]

[ she gives a nod and with an armful of clothing, meanders on into the changing room. ]

[In the meantime, Kurt is just going to call up Rogue on the journals and quickly inform her of where he's at. He'll even offer to teleport her on over, in fact.]

[And in a burst of smoke, they appear back at the clothes shop.]

[ and out she walks, wearing her usual outfit, sans glaringly yellow jacket, which is draped over her arm... along with enough clothes to fill a small closet. ]

He- [ ... wha... ] Rogue? [ ... ] What are you wearing?

[bamfing]

You're one to talk.

[Especially with those shades.]

[A hand goes to her head - Jubliee's outfit is just that bright and if she doesn't cut this off, if this Jubliee is anything like the one she remembers, she and Kurt will go at it all night.]

I told ya, it's a long story. Ya hungry? This is the sort of thing that goes down best with [whiskey] milkshakes.

I could go for some milkshakes. [ she casts one last look at the piles of clothing. deciding she can probably come back tomorrow, throws her load into a duffel bag and nods. ] Let's dip.

["Let's dip?"] Shakes definitely sound good right now.

[Being the gentleman of the group, he will naturally go on ahead so as to hold the door open for these lovely ladies.]
